Microsoft Launches Xbox-Branded Meta Quest 3S Headset as Limited Edition

Microsoft has announced a limited-edition Xbox-branded version of the Meta Quest 3S headset, priced at £380 / $400.

This collaboration with Meta features a unique design, accessories in Xbox Series X colors, and includes a three-month subscription to Meta Horizon+ and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The headset supports both native VR gaming and cloud streaming of Xbox titles, aiming to expand Xbox’s presence in the VR space. Available today in very limited quantities, this device is seen as Microsoft’s experiment in VR support, though critics question its actual gaming functionality given its emphasis on streaming and the lack of dedicated VR titles for Xbox. The partnership highlights ongoing efforts to bring Xbox to more platforms, even if current support remains limited.
