Philips Hue to Increase Prices in the US Due to Tariffs

Starting July 1st, US customers will see higher prices across various Philips Hue smart lighting and security products.

This price hike is a direct result of tariffs imposed on imports. Signify, the parent company of Philips Hue, confirmed that the increase will affect the entire product lineup, including popular items like the Hue Play Wall Washer and Smart Button.

The company has already raised prices on some products, with the Wall Washer now costing $219.99, around 10% more than in Europe when currency exchange is considered.

Additional products, such as the Smart Button, are also seeing price increases. Signify has indicated that these changes may continue if new tariffs are enacted, making Hue products more expensive and potentially prompting consumers to consider alternative brands.

The updated pricing will be reflected in the official Hue store next week, with third-party retailers likely to follow soon after.
