Street Fighter Live-Action Movie Cast Reveals Dan Hibiki Role

The upcoming live-action Street Fighter film has officially cast Andrew Schulz as the character Dan Hibiki. Legendary Entertainment is developing the project, based on Capcom's iconic video game series, with director Kitao Sakurai at the helm, known for his 2021 film Bad Trip. Schulz, a comedian and podcaster famed for his stand-up and controversial jokes, brings a comedic yet potentially feeble vibe to the role originally introduced in Street Fighter Alpha in 1995.
The film also features a star-studded cast including Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Orville Peck as Vega, and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog. Production is scheduled to begin in Australia this August, though plot details remain under wraps. The film is a joint effort between Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, with a release date yet to be announced.
